Day’s 6-8

Not much on the workout front. Had to go out of town to work on a three story beast of a house. I’m a taper, which means i put the mud and metal and stuff on the walls getting them ready for paint. This was the first time John and I worked together, it took three days to get in a rhythm. 39 hours in three days is a lot of work.  It is great that I felt strong all day long, being healthier and stronger helps late in the day.

Now I have to adjust my goals to get back on track to finish strong. I hope your goals are pushing yourself that little bit everyday. Keep up the great work!

Day 5

Fathers day, rest day. Not that I wanted to but my body said I was done for the day. I have started very strong, so I feel good with taking a day. I know I can make up the goals and RT/CT’s.

I have to go out of town for work for a few days. I will post my days stuff when I get back. Keep up the good work see ya soon.

Day 4

I started my day with my longest run to date, 5.8 miles. I only started running this Feb. Felt great, good enough to sprint at the finish. I also got in my chin ups, caught up on yesterdays missing them.

I did a good Rt after dinner, now @ 9 pm starting on my push ups for the day. I do them during commercials. Arms feel pretty good considering the day. Tomorrow i need to hit a couple of RT’s as I have to go out of town for a few days, no lifting till I get back.

To all the Dads out there, hope you have a great day and you get to spend it with the ones you love. Got to go commercial.

Day 3

Hope your day went well? Mine was so so.  My arms were jello this morning and for most of the day. It was work just doing things around the yard. Life go to me today, felt pretty down. That seams to be happening a lot these days, today was especially bad. Had very bad thoughts.

I did not run or lift today. I was resting some, then I let it take over. Pushupguk messaged about my push up goal. It got me up off my ass and I got 115 push ups in, Thanks Pushupguk. Now I only have to double up on chin ups and run tomorrow. Oh and get in a RT too. If it was not hard everyone would have the body we all want. See you tomorrow.

Day 2

I am not sure what idiot thought up my goals, look in mirror. My arms are killing me, I sure hope I can get use to the punishment they have to take every day.  Before the last surgery I whipped out 313 while watching the biggest looser during commercials. Tonight I am two hours in to chin ups and push ups, oh and a RT in the middle. Hey I have never been accused of being bright.

Day 1

Well the first day was good. By 7:05 am I had done 113 push ups, 6 chinups they are gonna kill me and ran 3.6 miles. Not bad for day 1.  I did get in the rest of my chin ups through out the day.

I was going to get in a RT but figured i should pace myself some. It felt great to have the arms feeling full and sore.

I wanted to add I did check my weight this morning 217, 215 yesterday morning UGGGG. So the next time I check will be on the last day of the challenge. Best of luck on your goals.

Ready Set Get up off your

Hey everyone,

Hope you are ready for the challenge? 

I am, I want to get back to where I was one and a half challenges ago. So I have set some hardcore goals. I have let not pushing become the normal, this is not acceptable. It does nothing for my body or my mental health, with me they are both intertwined. I let one go they both suffer.

So to you all, rest up and hit the start running. Catch me if you can!!!

   I am back after the plumber, round three.

I can honestly say I am ready to charge hard in this challenge.  This shot is to remind myself why I need to go back to school and change that part of my life as well. I am going to push myself very hard, too hard I think. It might be the shot that I need to get on with living a better life.

Best of luck with your goals. Keep pushing and eventually the wall will fall down.

Hey all,

So glad to be starting up the dc52, the BOC has been good for me. I have picked up some good habits, workout’s have moved up on the list of thing I have to do. I still get down some, the scale has stalled for a bit. I need to remember that in 5 1/2 weeks I have dropped 8 lbs.

We got out the tape mesure and I have lost quite a few inches. Feels pretty good. I really need to get going on the endurance, so running is on the list. Weigh in tomorrow morning to see where I start.

Week 5

Hey all,

Sorry it has been awhile. Been hanging in there, no major change weight wise. I know I’m putting on muscles, especially arms. Push-ups are going good, tonight was the first time over 100, not all at once but over the workout. I figured I better change something up so I started running, gotta bust through this flat spot.

I have been really pissy lately, thought it was just work but it turns out, I think it was more. Helaine my wife has to have surgery this month, the other day she said a possibility of cancer. She has had this in her head for a while before she told me. She had a blood test yesterday, got the word today it looks clear. But they still have to take the cyst out, Hope it stays clear.

So after the news I felt very different than I have been this last few days. Got in a good workout this evening, gotta get two in tomorrow.
